Use of NLT Scripture
Mountain Mercy Ministries, Inc. does not claim ownership of the New Living Translation or its text.
New Living Translation Scripture quotations appearing in Mountain Mercy Ministries’ nonsalable website and ministry materials are identified with the initials (NLT) at the end of each quotation when appropriate.
All NLT Scripture must be quoted accurately, including its wording, punctuation, capitalization, and italics. Any use outside Tyndale’s applicable permission guidelines requires prior written permission from Tyndale House Publishers.
Quotation Limits
Under Tyndale’s standard fair-use guidelines for print and eBook works, up to 500 NLT verses may be quoted without express written permission, provided that:
• The quoted verses do not constitute more than 25 percent of the work;
• A complete book of the Bible is not quoted; and
• The required copyright attribution is provided.
Quotations exceeding 500 verses, exceeding 25 percent of a work, including a complete book of the Bible, or otherwise falling outside Tyndale’s guidelines require written permission from Tyndale House Publishers.
Artwork, Merchandise, and Products for Sale
Use of NLT Scripture in graphic designs, T-shirts, book covers, posters, banners, greeting cards, merchandise, fundraising items, or other artwork may require prior written permission from Tyndale House Publishers.
This website copyright notice does not grant Mountain Mercy Ministries or any website visitor permission to reproduce NLT Scripture on merchandise or other products for sale.
Online Sermons, Videos, Podcasts, and Social Media
Tyndale’s standard guidelines for noncommercial and nonmonetized online sermons or Bible teaching permit up to 50 NLT verses per recording when the Scripture quotations make up no more than 25 percent of the spoken content and the required written NLT attribution appears in the description of the post.
Commercial, monetized, extensive, or otherwise excluded online use may require a separate permission letter or license from Tyndale House Publishers.
